1. Poppet

While Kate was at a store with her children, she was overheard calling her daughter, Charlotte, ‘poppet.’ It is also a nickname that Prince William is known to call his wife.

2. Pops

When royal fans learned about this nickname, they just went into a frenzy. Apparently, the Cambridge children call their dad, Prince William, ‘Pops.’ How adorable is that?

3. Grandpa Wales

The royal grandchildren call Prince Charles ‘Grandpa Wales’! This is especially sweet, as Her Majesty used to call her grandfather, George V, ‘Grandpa England’.

4. My love

While posing for a photo with the Hamilton cast, Meghan was overheard calling Harry ‘my love,’ worried that she was blocking him in the snapshot. She also calls him ‘Haz,’ according to her former agent, while he calls her ‘Meg’.

5. Darling and Babe

At several events, William and Kate have both been heard calling each other adorable nicknames. William calls Kate ‘darling’ while Kate calls her hubbie ‘babe.’ Excuse us while we swoon.

6. Lilibet

As a little girl, the Queen referred to herself as ‘Tillabet’, which later became ‘Lilibet’. Apparently, some of her close family and friends still use this affectionate nickname to this day.

7. Wombat

Prince Harry revealed that their mother, Diana, began calling his brother, Prince William ‘wombat’ following their family trip to Australia, after the local animal.

8. Cabbage

Prince Philip’s pet name for his wife came to light in the 2006 film, The Queen, and resurfaced again in the Netflix series The Crown. In a bed scene, Prince Philip says, “Move over, Cabbage.” Unexpected, but cute nonetheless.
