Make their mouth water: 5 food pairings for excellent wedding favours

Appreciative and yummy!

1. Shortbread and Turkish Delight bites

These crumbly biscuits pair perfectly with the soft, hyper-candied flavour of Turkish Delight. Package them in beautiful paper boxes (environment first!) and you have a sign of gratitude which will leave a sweet aftertaste among your guests.

2. Cake on a stick…with colourful sprinkles!

We love the unique lolly-look on these cakes! Make like it’s a warm summer’s day (even if it’s not) and hand out soft, crunchy bakes on a stick, but add the sprinkles – they are not optional! These bakes are so pretty and fun, they’ll have your guests smiling and remembering happy times on the beach.

3. Caramel popcorn and a lolly

There are some things which you never lose the taste for, such as caramel popcorn and lollipops! Yes, your older family members might laugh at the quirkiness of the gift, but it will be a talking point for many years to come.

4. Different shapes of doughnuts

Big or small, round or rectangular, doughnuts are the ideal wedding favour since everybody loves them (right?). Mix and match the flavours, but keep the look consistent across all variations, to match the tone of your big day.

5. Olive oil and balsamic vinegar

For something on the savoury side, go all Mediterranean and hand out small bottles of earthy olive oil and tangy balsamic vinegar. You’ll know these will serve your family and friends well – all they’d need is a piece of aromatic bread and they have a meal!
